Amazon FBA tags are divided into three types:
Product label: also known as FNSKU, it is a label starting with XOO and must cover the original barcode of the product. The product label is the identification of Amazon FBA products, which are put into storage and put on shelves.
Shipment label: refers to the label posted on the outer box of the package, indicating a shipment ID: FBAXXXXXX. A shipment number may have multiple boxes, which will be reflected in U001 and U002 of the shipment number. It is the identification of the outer packaging box of the goods confirmed by Amazon warehouse upon receipt.
Pallet labels: Refers to the four pallet labels that must be affixed on all four sides of a pallet, similar to the above cargo labels. It is worth mentioning that the Pallet label is only used during sea transportation.
2、 Amazon FBA Tag Settings
Log in to the Amazon FBA backend, find the Setting Fulfillment by Amazon Optional Label Service in the backend, and directly edit it. Choose whether to package and label it yourself. After clicking “Edit”, three messages will appear: labeling service, preparation party, and labeling party.
There are two options for labeling services: disable and enable. Disabled represents sellers choosing not to enable Amazon’s labeling service
If both the preparation party and the labeling party choose the seller, it means that the seller needs to label and package themselves.
FBA labels can be applied by oneself or by Amazon. Amazon labels are charged ($0.2 per label), so it is recommended to apply them yourself.
3、 Amazon FBA label printing method
All goods entering Amazon warehouses must be scanned with FBA barcode labels. If the barcode labels attached to the products cannot be scanned, the warehousing operation cannot be completed. There are several methods for printing FBA labels
Print it out on A4 paper, cut it with a paper cutter, and then stick transparent adhesive paper.
Print it on self-adhesive A4 paper, cut it with a paper cutter, and directly stick it onto the product because it is self-adhesive.
Use self-adhesive A4 paper that has already been cut one by one, so that it can be printed without cutting, and can be pulled out to stick.
Use a label printer, but the label needs to be processed before it can be used. Alternatively, self-made labels can be used.
Print with a thermal printer, download the FBA product label, slice it with PS, drag it to Word, and print it directly.
Note: It is recommended to use carbon tape and copperplate paper when printing FBA labels, because if the thermosensitive paper label is left for a long time or is damp, the words on the label may fade until they are completely removed
